When visiting Taipei Astronomical Museum, don't miss out a fun activity : taking on the Cosmic adventure. Costumer will be introduced to sit in a funny oral shaped mini cart, with instruction whether in Chinese or English. After taken your seat and choosing the language you're comfortable with, the cart's doors will close and the show begins.
The story features in the 25th century, when traveling in space has become common and already a kind of public tourism. It's a 10 years long ( each year actually is one minute long in reality ) journey of the solar system. First was the Moon, the closest places to the Earths, then the Sun, the hottest place in our universe, then from Mars to Jupiter. Cosmic adventure uses films, lighting and special effects inter changeably to create magnificent views of the outer space. The carts will spin, turn around and you'll see many special features and infinite surprises, like the Alien in Mars waving their hands at you, or the burning of the Sun right in front of your face. Taking a low-speed and closed compartment gives you a perception of controlling a spacecraft.
The adventure might be just 10 minutes long, but the ride is a life-time experience and unforgettable. The universe is still of unknown matters, why not taking this tour to have your eye open ?
